POLICE have caught three drivers going over the speed limit Tuesday.

Senior Constable Lachy Hurst, of Nhill, detected the first driver doing 148 km per hour in a 100 km per hour zone at 4.25pm.
The driver was heading towards Horsham along the Western Highway in Gerang Gerung when Senior Constable Hurst detected them via mobile radar.
"It is expected he will receive a summons to attend court at a later date," he said.
Then about 6.55pm Senior Constable Hurst detected another driver along the Western Highway, this time in Pimpinio travelling at 116 km per hour in an 80 km per hour zone.
The driver was issued an infringement notice with a $537 fine and his licence was suspended for three months.
Horsham police then intercepted a Toyota Sedan on the Western Highway travelling at 151 km per hour in a 100 km per hour zone.
Senior Constable Zivkovic stopped the driver near Green Lake, where they were travelling towards Horsham.
The driver had three passengers and was issued a fine worth $826 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
