Laharum, chasing a target of 227, were never in the hunt as they were dismissed for 54 in the 25th over. Big-hitting left-hander Ben Peucker was the only Laharum batter to reach double figures on 19.
Homers quick Craig Britten was the destroyer taking 8/19 off 12.4 overs. Homers had no qualms about asking for the follow-on and Laharum's resistance in the second dig was much improved.
Captain Daniel Griffiths led the way with 40 before spinner Jason Kannar claimed his wicket. Anthony Cutter was soon in the action after opener Nathan Griffiths was caught off the bowling of Britten for a duck. Cutter made a cavalier 27 off 22 balls, but in the end it was Laharum all out for 131.
Britten added three wickets to his first innings haul to finish the match with 11/49 of 19.4 overs including five maidens. Homers were outright victors by an innings and 31 runs.
At Horsham City Oval the Noradjuha/Toolondo Bullants and Horsham Saints game was a one-dayer following last week's play being cancelled.
Winning the toss, the Bullants batted first with Justtin Combe and Kent Hair opening. Hair, after two ducks in a row, would have been relieved to get the first run in the scorebook. His was the first wicket down with the score on 60 when medium pacer Aiden Laffy sent him back to the pavilion for 23.
Laffy struck again, dismissing Combe for 39. At 2/72. Josh Beddison, Jordy McDonald, John Heard, Ben Anson and Dave Combe all managed to get starts but couldn't take the initiative as the Bullants managed to finish on 9/164 after their 40 overs.
Laffy was the best with the ball for the Saints taking 3/21 off his overs. Surprisingly Horsham Saints resisted the temptation to build a run chase around Gary Davidson, opening with captain Mark Crafter and Corey Smith.
Crafter's intent was obvious, hitting five boundaries before retiring hurt for 22. From that point it was procession of wickets with the Saints struggling to all out for 117 in the 38th over.
McDonald took 3/19 off 6.2 overs and the miserly Brendan Wills tied down one end taking 2/11 off eight overs. The Bullants were winners by 47 runs.
At Dimboola Oval the visitors, Jung Tigers took the first innings points passing Blackheath/Dimboola's 114 with only four wickets down.
The Tigers pressed onto 9/216 with Joey Mock and Sam Leith both making 45 with Tyler Neville on 25.
Harry Young was the pick of the bowlers for the home team taking 3/25.
Blackheath/Dimboola batted for a second time managing to get to 4/113 when stumps was called. Elliot Braithwaite made 46, including eight boundaries.
At Cornell Park on Sunday the sprinkler system claimed a first innings victory when it malfunctioned. With a wet wicket the game was abandoned and the points were shared equally between Colts and Rup/Minyip.
This weekend the game of the round in A grade will be Rup/Minyip welcoming the Bullants to Rupanyup. The keys to this game are no doubt Justtin Combe for the Bullants and Mark Mbofana for the home team.
In other games Homers heads to Dimboola play Blackheath/Dimboola, Colts get to test themselves against Horsham Saints at home and Laharum are on the road to the City Oval to play Jung Tigers.
