It was the first time for some of the athletes, which made it even more enjoyable.
Just Better Jets, Horsham Heat, Wimmera Weapons and Horsham Rockets joined other Wimmera teams to venture over the border into South Australia.
Warracknabeal, St Arnaud, Stawell and Ararat communities were also well represented.
The weather was on the chilly side for most of the week but this was not going to dampen the enthusiasm of these very special athletes during competition or at the after parties.
Indoor sports on Monday, swimming on Tuesday and athletics on Thursday. All participants made their families and communities proud with their efforts in just having a go.
This is an event where all participants are winners.
RESULTS
Horsham Heat
14 Gold Medals, 13 Silver Medals, 11 Bronze Medals, 3rd Best team in the Athletics competition, Runner-Up overall for team of the week.
Rachael Werner was named runner-up in female best athlete in Category A.
Just Better Jets
Simone Tucker- gold beanbag accuracy, silver 25m walk.
Adam Werner- silver basketball throw, gold 20m walk across the pool, gold 25m walk on track.
Jack Werner- silver golf putting, silver in both 50m backstroke and freestyle, gold 400m run and gold footy distance kick.
Tom Clarkson - bronze table tennis singles.
Toni Niblett - gold 20m walk across the pool, and bronze for 25m walk on track.
Alex Barlow also attended, competing in beanbag throws, walking and pool events.
The JBC Jets team members loved spending the week making new friends and they loved dancing on the dance floor every night. They also spent their free time going down the waterslides at the resort.
Wimmera Weapons
Brad Bone - Bronze medal in Running Long Jump, Silver Medal 50m Freestyle.
Kaylene Thompson - Silver Medal in 25m running, Gold Medal in Noodle, Gold Medal in Carpet Bowls.
Andrew Kent - Bronze Medal in 400m walk.
Shantelle Morrison - Bronze Medal in 100m running, Gold Medal in Carpet bowls.
Glenda Alexander - Bronze Medal in 25m running.
Jaryd Harvey - Gold medal in 25 m powered wheelchair, Gold medal in 50m. powered wheelchair,
Martin Laundy also competed.

12 Gold Medals, 14 Silver Medals, 8 Bronze Medals, 2 Personal Best Ribbons
The Tri State Games heads to Cobram on November 9 - 13 next year.
