A 28-year-old woman has been taken to Nhill Hospital, after a single-car crash in Nurcoung on Friday night.

Nhill Sergeant Matt Currow said the woman was driving her Toyota Prius towards Nhill when she swerved to avoid a flock of birds and hit a tree.
"She complained of head and neck injuries and was taken to hospital for assessment," he said. "The vehicle is a write-off."
Sergeant Currow said the salvage operation would not have any effect on traffic through the area.
On Friday morning, Nhill police, intercepted a man in his early twenties between Nhill and Lawloit, caught driving 154 kilometres an hour.
Sergeant Currow said the man from Thomastown, in Melbourne, would appear by summons in court to have the incident included on his criminal record.
