Holy Trinity Lutheran College is celebrating a successful school year.
2019 saw the school complete its first year as a foundation-to-year-12 college.
The change started after beginning the journey of middle schooling in 2014 to provide local and wider community families the option of an independent college for a student's educational journey from foundation to year 12.
In the junior and middle schools, development and consolidation of learning programs is continuing to further strengthen the numeracy and literacy skills of students.
In 2019, more than 98 per cent of students who completed NAPLAN testing were at or above the national standard.
This ensures a solid grounding as students enter senior schooling and decide on future VCE, VET or VCAL pathways.
The graduating year 12 cohort have worked hard to achieve results that have allowed 40 per cent of students to already secure their future career pathways, either through early entry into tertiary education, securing an apprenticeship or traineeship or gaining employment.
The school community would like to congratulate all students on a fantastic year, recognising that success comes in many forms.
By providing rich and dynamic opportunities, Holy Trinity College strengthens student outcomes to ensure they are prepared for future career pathways and have the necessary skills to embark on that chosen pathway.
