A kitten that was stuck on the roof of Amcal Pharmacy in Horsham is back on solid ground thanks to a successful rescue by Horsham PAWS.
Amcal Pharmacy staff said the cat walked across a makeshift plank constructed by Brendan Stemp and into a cage at about 9am on Wednesday morning.
The cat had been on the roof and in the drainpipe of the store since December 24.
Horsham Rural City Council ranger Jason Brady said he was glad the rescue efforts had paid off.
"Nobody can say I can't catch a cat," he said.
Horsham Paws president Penny Stemp collected the kitten and said she would take it into the rescue program.
"Nobody is coming to collect it," she said. "It will be quarantined from the other cats and wormed."
Mrs Stemp estimated that the kitten was seven weeks old and did not know where it had come from.
