The opening two days of the Toowoomba tournament saw the Victorians play four Twenty20 fixtures.
It wasn't a perfect start for Caccaviello's side, losing by four runs against last year's champions, Western Australia.
Caccaviello bowled a wicket-less two-over spell to open the innings, but conceded only 12 runs.
Victoria claimed their first win later on the first day, beating Queensland by six wickets.
Caccaviello's two overs went for a measly seven runs.
The second day of the championships saw Victoria record two comfortable victories.
Caccaviello claimed figures of 1-16 off three overs against ACT and conceded just 14 runs off his full allotment against South Australia.
