Hundreds of people gathered at Horsham's Sawyer Park on Sunday for the annual event.
A free barbecue breakfast was provided by Horsham council with the combined service clubs of Horsham volunteering their time to serve hungry guests.
Horsham's Citizen of the Year Simon Risson, and Young Citizens of the Year Zack Currie and Lauren Matheson each spoke at the ceremony.
Horsham Agriculture Society secretary Andrea Cross accepted the Community Event of the Year award for the 2019 Horsham Agriculture Show.
Horsham's newest Australian citizen Thandi Eltze was officially sworn in by Mayor Mark Radford.
Originally from Botswana, Ms Eltze came to Australia in 2009. Her son Jayden, 9, was born in Australia.
"It feels really good to become a citizen even though I have been here 10 years," she said.
"I feel proud to be here and feel like I belong here. I was able to make friends quite easily and had a lot of support from the community."
