"A man found with serious injuries on the side of the road in Horsham yesterday has died in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Dooen Road where the injured man was found about 5.50am Sunday morning.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident which has claimed the life of the 24-year-old Warracknabeal man.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are keen to speak to anyone that may have been driving through Horsham or on Dooen Road between 4am and 6am Sunday morning.

Sunday 1.40pm: Police are calling for public assistance after a man was found seriously injured on the side of Dooen Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 24-year-old Warracknabeal man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to Dooen Road and found the man around 5:50am.
A stretch of Dooen Road between Edith Street and Rasmussen Road is closed, and is expected to remain closed for most of the day.
Horsham Police encouraged motorists entering town to use Rasmussen Road and Cameron Road.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are yet to determine if the man was hit by a car.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone that may have been driving through Horsham or on Dooen Road between 4am and 6am on Sunday morning.
