"Passengers on the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines are urged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time due to protected industrial action tomorrow.
Rail Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) members, employed by V/Line, will take protected industrial action on Tuesday 18 February.
As a result, no V/Line trains will run on the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines for the entire day, with trains replaced by a mix of express and stopping all stations coach services.
Passengers are advised to allow up to an extra 60 minutes for their journey and to download the temporary replacement coach timetable from the V/Line website to plan their journey.
Freight trains managed by private operators and other services will still run during planned industrial action so the community is reminded to always obey warning signs at level crossings and stay safe around trains.
We would like to thank passengers for their understanding during the disruption.
For more information, visit the V/Line website, PTV website or download the V/Line app."
