Police have launched an urgent appeal for information after a man found seriously injured on the side of a Horsham road died in hospital.

Emergency services were called to Dooen Road, where they found a 24-year-old Warracknabeal man around 5:50am on Sunday morning.
The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
A stretch of Dooen Road, between Edith Street and Rasmussen Road, was closed for several hours on Sunday as police investigations continued.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives yesterday appealed for public assistance as investigations continued into the incident.
On Sunday, police could not determine if the man was hit by a car and were still investigating when the Mail-Times went to print on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives were keen to speak to anyone who might have been driving through Horsham or on Dooen Road between 4am and 6am on Sunday morning.

The incident was the first road death in the Horsham local government area this year, and the second in the past two months.
A "vehicle of interest" was found in Truganina, in Melbourne's west, in late December and forensically examined.
No charges have been laid, and the investigation is ongoing.
Last year there were nine road deaths across the Horsham, Hindmarsh, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack local government areas, recent Transport Accident Commission figures have shown.
