Update 4.30pm Tuesday: A woman has been arrested over a fire that affected the roof of a Harriett Street property on Tuesday afternoon.
Horsham Sergeant Jason Bergen said the fire was being treated as suspicious.
"A woman is in custody in relation to the incident and investigations are ongoing," he said.
2pm: POLICE remain on scene at Horsham's Harriett Street, where a ceiling fire affected a residence.
Operations officer for District 17 Lindsay Barry said the brigade responded to the structure fire at 11.50am.
"They found a fire in the ceiling space," he said.
"Due to the quick response the crew was able to control and extinguish the fire and hand it over to police."
Horsham Sergeant Travis Kerr has confirmed police are investigating.
