Country Fire Authority Disctrict 17 have brought a small bushfire under control on the Henty Highway in Dooen.
The fire was reported at 11.48am on Friday.
CFA District 17 operations manager Craig Brittain said the fire had been caused by a slasher.
"Two vehicles from Horsham and one Dooen responded and brought the fire under control quite quickly," he said.
