Stawell police intercepted a vehicle at 1.30pm on Friday allegedly travelling at 142km/h on the Western Highway.
The man, of Coolaroo, was found to be unlicensed.
Ararat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged the man after police searched the vehicle and located approximately 6kg of what is alleged to be methyl amphetamine with an estimated street value of $6 million.
The man was arrested, had his car impounded and has been charged and remanded to reappear at Horsham Magistrates' Court on 17 June.
