With eateries facing months of uncertainty, Katrina Nuske took to social media to help promote what Wimmera businesses have to offer.
The Horsham chef created the Facebook group, Horsham Dine In, Takeaway and Delivery, a one-stop shop of all the takeway, delivery and dining options in the region.
"My boss at Moes doesn't do social media at all and I thought 'how the hell are these places going to survive on their own with all the stuff that is going on," Mrs Nuske said.
"I was flicking through the media and I thought maybe we needed a group or something where someone can just type in Horsham takeaways and they will actually see what's going on in the town.
"All these small town businesses are going to have a hard time staying alive, and then they've got to eventually re-open.
The group has attracted more than 1300 members since its creation last week.
Mrs Nuske feared small businesses would struggle in the coming months.
"I've been a chef in Horsham for nearly 20 years. I started my apprenticeship when I was 19 at the Royal," she said.
"I've worked at Cafe Jas, and the Fig Tree so I've sort of got an insight into all these little places, who are just going to struggle."
"When I first posted (the group) I was worried. I was thinking 'oh is this going to work, is it going to be a failure'. But last night me and my husband were sitting there and he said it just climbed 200 members.
"It's just a great feeling knowing everyone out there is getting in and supporting it. It's going to help these guys big time."
Mrs Nuske encouraged people to continue to visit their favourite restaurants or cafes in town.
"Think about who you normally dine with and just get a pack and dine-in at home. You still can go to your local places that you miss and still get food. Just eat it at home, with your family.
I"t's just about getting in there and helping these guys out through a tough time."
