The Lakers are competing against Mininera and District league club Glenthompson-Dunkeld and South West District league club Cavendish for the "Quaranteam Cup".
The informal competition rewards players for individual training during the coronavirus pandemic.
Players are rewarded points for every kilometre walked, run or cycled, contributing to their club's overall total.
The club with the most points at the conclusion of the competition wins bragging rights and what is hopefully the first and only "Quaranteam Cup".
Taylors Lake co-coach Taylor Milner said it was a good way to maintain some competitive spirit and teamwork during a tumultuous time.
"We're obviously trying to do as much as we can during the social isolation," he said.
"It's more just about making sure we can keep fit and active, and stay connected in some way during these tough times.
"Each kilometre is a certain amount of points, and at the end of six or 10 weeks, or whenever football is supposed to be returning, we'll just add it up and whoever has the most distance travelled is the winner.
"It's a bit of fun and it's a good way to encourage people to keep fit."
Milner said the progress was tracked via an app, with players self-reporting their distance travelled.
He said it had so far been a successful way to keep players motivated.
"It's been really good to have a visual representation on the screen that we are all on every day," he said.
"You can see who is doing what, and have a bit more motivation to do a bit yourself when everyone else is getting around it."
