Just because you can't take Mum out to her favourite Grampians location for a family walk or her favourite cafe or restaurant for lunch this Mother's Day, doesn't mean you can't still bring a little bit of Grampians happiness into her day. Here's a few suggestions to help inspire your thinking.
Bring the outdoors indoors
Turn on the Halls Gap Livestream for a peaceful mountain backdrop to her day or, if you are in need a bit of animal interaction, you can log onto the Halls Gap Zoo Facebook Page for a wildlife meet and greet.

Lunch is served
This year you can impress Mum by taking over the mealtime duties with a choice of delicious lunch options.
If you want to try your hand at preparing a three-course gourmet meal fit for a queen try The Royal Mail, Dunkeld Family Duck Dinner. This feast is delivered to your door semi-prepared with full instructions from Executive Chef, Robin Wickens, to step you through the cooking and plating up.
If you would still like to surprise Mum, but would rather have someone else do all the preparation The Halls Gap Hotel is offering a three-course Mother's Day lunch ready to simply pick up and plate up.
Purchase now and enjoy later
If you can't be there in person why not send her a voucher and make some plans for a day out together later in the year when travel restrictions have been relaxed.
The Annual Seppelt Wines High Tea is scheduled for Sunday, November 1 and offers a classical high tea. The bar will be serving Seppelt Fleur De Lys and Prosecco. Bring the whole family for a memorable event and indulge in an assortment of fine foods, tea and coffee, and award-winning sparkling wines.
If Mum is more of an adventure seeker a Grampians Helicopters experience might be just what she has always wanted. You can purchase a gift certificate for two people on any scenic flight and a third person flies for free. Even better she can take the flight any time up to July 31, 2021.
Show her the Grampians National Park from a different perspective with a relaxing trike tour. Grampians Trike Tours offers the unique experience of touring in and around the magnificent Grampians as a passenger on a fantastic BOOM Mustang three seater trike.
Whether you decide to choose one of these options or pick Mum up a bottle of wine from her favourite Grampians winemaker, we're wishing you and your loved ones a safe and healthy Mother's Day.
