
POLICE are investigating after a man died in a single-vehicle crash at Connewirricoo, south-east of Edenhope, on Thursday night.
Police have been told a resident of Kadnook-Connewirricoo Road heard a noise before finding the crashed car about 11pm.
It appears the man's car crashed into a tree. The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined but police believe the driver lost control.
Officers are also investigating whether or not the man was wearing a seatbelt.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
