The Horsham City Netball Association is all set to bring junior netball back to the Wimmera - and could also introduce a senior competition for a modified 2020 season.
The association will return on Friday, July 24, with its 9-and-under, 11-and-under and 13-and-under competitions, and will also introduce a Saturday competition for 13-and-under, 15-and-under and 17-and-under divisions.
NetSetGO will also be offered on Wednesday nights for youngsters aged 5-7.
Association president Cathie Weidemann said the viability of a senior competition depended on Victoria's ever-changing COVID-19 restrictions.
"An open competition is just dependent on restrictions and how they change - all the competitions will be," she said.

Mrs Weidemann said a senior division would be open to teams and players from the Horsham District league and Wimmera Netball Association, after both leagues recently cancelled their 2020 seasons.
"We're quite prepared to run an alternative season to assist clubs from the Wimmera district and surrounding netball associations," she said.
"But we will talk to other associations as well as Jason Muldoon (AFL Wimmera-Mallee area manager) to see the viability and interest in that."
Mrs Weidemann said there would still be various strict restrictions in place to ensure the health and safety of participants.
"At the moment for our juniors ... the expectation is that there will be one parent or supervisor per child, and the courts won't be open for general public spectators," she said.
"We'll try to minimise the amount of people we've got down there and minimise the community contact and things like that."
Mrs Weidemann said anybody interested in taking part in a junior or a senior competition should contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0411 166 914.
"We've got a proposal out and are calling for expressions of interest for teams in the 13, 15 and 17 age group, and possibly open divisions," she said.
