Another 273 cases of the deadly COVID-19 has been recorded across Victoria.
Premier Daniel Andrews announced the figures in a press conference after 11am.
A man in his 70s has died, taking the death toll to 24 since the pandemic began earlier this year.
No new data has been released for the Wimmera, Northern Grampians and Ararat, but is expected this afternoon. There are currently no active cases in these regions.
There are now 1484 active cases in Victoria, after 30,195 tests were conducted on Saturday.
Victoria has had 3799 cases recorded. Fifty-seven Victorians are in hospital, with 16 of those in intensive care.
"Let me take this opportunity to thank each and every one of those Victorians who came forward," Mr Andrews said.
"I am deeply grateful to every Victorian doing the right thing.
"If we don't play our part, we will see this virus continue to spread.
"We cannot ignore the circumstances we face."
Mr Andrews said Melbourne and Mitchell Shire students from prep to year 10 will go back to remote learning from July 20 until at least August 19.
"I have a very clear appreciation of how challenging that is, but it is the only way to go forward," Mr Andrews told reporters.
On-site learning will be available for students who can't stay home.
Senior secondary school students and those who attend specialist schools will return to face-to-face learning on Monday.
Regional Victoria remains unaffected and it will be "business as usual".
