A senior competition however has been called off due to a lack of interest.
With the Horsham District league and Wimmera leagues cancelling their 2020 seasons due to COVID-19, the HCNA had offered to run a senior competition.
Association president Cathie Weidemann however said it did not generate enough interest in an already chaotic year.
"I just think with the uncertainty with the coronavirus shutdowns in Melbourne, and also the Wimmera and district league going ahead with junior football and netball, it was a bit too difficult," she said.
Mrs Weidemann however said the junior competitions had a slight uptick in interest.
"There's been plenty of interest which is awesome," she said.
"We've had a lot of interest in our junior competitions and ... I'm quite happy with that given the uncertainty at the moment.
"Registrations were set to close tomorrow (Tuesday), but I'm quite happy to hear from teams and clubs until the end of the week.
"There's still room for players and teams to get involved."

Mrs Weidemann added that any individuals, particularly aged 10-11, could register their interest and be put into teams.
She said the association was available to provide support to families with any registration issues or health concerns.
"With new players, we're happy to help with current COVID guidelines, expectations for players, parents and spectators, and all of that sort of thing," she said.
