I'm starting to think that the year 2020 just isn't trying.
Yes, it has been faced with "unprecedented challenges" and "difficult circumstances" and "trying times" but seriously, I wish it would just snap out of it, pull it's socks up, knuckle down and get on with the job.
It's about time someone told 2020 that enough is enough!
This year certainly keeps telling me, "We're all in this together" but it seems as though some of us are more together in this than others.
I am definitely falling apart at times. I'm afraid that when I have to wear a face mask, I'm barely keeping it together at all!
I love face masks in theory. I love their aim and purpose and hope they succeed in all they aspire to achieve, it's just that I cannot wear one without wanting to scream then cry.

I love the look of face masks on other people, the fashion choices users make with different styles and fabrics and looking so sensible and safe with them on. It's just that I can't breathe when I'm wearing mine and I talk so much that this means I get dizzy and nearly pass out.
I love that people are caring for each other by wearing fabulous face masks but sadly I haven't got a clue who these caring people are because I cannot see their faces... do those eyes seem vaguely familiar?
Facial expressions are a thing of the past. Feeling happy or sad, wanting to smile at someone to lift their spirits, purse your lips at a naughty child - forget about it - no one will ever know what's going on under there.
Nor do they want to when make-up is involved - hat hair is nothing compared to face mask complexion.
Wearing a face mask helps increase peace of mind for those around you.
Aww, come here 2020, give us a hug - you're okay.
