VICTORIA has recorded its highest daily number of COVID-19 cases, with 532 new cases reported on Monday.

Another six people have also died from coronavirus - three women aged in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, and another three men aged in their 50s, 70s, and 80s.
Five of those deaths were from aged care outbreaks.
A total of 683 of Victoria's 4542 active cases are in an aged care setting. More than 400 cases are among healthcare workers.
Forty-four Victorians are being treated in intensive care for COVID-19.

Premier Daniel Andrews on Monday again urged people to stay at home if they had any symptoms.
"We are seeing too many people attending work with symptoms," he said.
"Act on your symptoms. Don't ignore them. Don't head to work. Instead, head to get tested and we'll get you your result as fast as we possibly can.
"We will then be able to make decisions based on the risk that you pose to those you love, to those you have never met, to those you work with, to every single Victorian."
The latest Department of Health and Human Services data comes after two new cases were recorded in Greater Bendigo on Sunday.
Five COVID-19 cases have also been linked to Castlemaine's Don KR facility.
It's not clear whether Greater Bendigo's new COVID-19 cases are linked to Don KR.
COVID-19 case numbers remained steady in Mount Alexander, the shire in which the Don KR facility sits.
Mount Alexander had one active COVID-19 case on Sunday, among seven it has seen in all time.
The Loddon Shire has one new active case, bringing active case numbers to two.
Macedon Ranges remained steady on Sunday, after reporting two new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. This brought the total active cases in the shire to eight.
Central Goldfields, Campaspe, Gannawarra, and Buloke Shire are all without active cases.
While case numbers are lower in regional Victoria, there are still some restrictions in place.
People can have up to five visitors in their homes in addition to the normal residents of the household. Outdoor gatherings are capped at 10 people.
People should continue to work from home if possible. The Victorian government is also urging residents in regional areas to wear a mask in situations where it is not possible to social distance.
