Victoria recorded 397 positive COVID-19 cases overnight, a welcome decrease after the two largest rises in the state's history on Thursday and Friday.

627 cases were recorded on Friday and 723 on Thursday.
Three people also died across the last 24 hours, marking 116 COVID-19 related deaths in Victoria since the pandemic began.
A man in his 80s, woman in her 80s and woman in her 90s died overnight.
Victorian Premier Dan Andrews warned that the drop in case numbers was not yet cause for celebration.
He said there were still significant concern for the number of cases caused by community transition.
"Whilst there is a temptation to read trends into these numbers, there is a growing concern for the amount of community transitions in that data," he said.

Further statistics for each region of Victoria will be given later today.
As of Friday, there were seven active cases in the Horsham Rural City Council, one in the Northern Grampians region, one in West Wimmera, one in Ararat and one in the Southern Grampians.
There were zero in the Buloke, Hindmarsh or Yarriambiack shires.
