It was a mixed bag weather wise at the weekend - much needed rain for our farmers followed by glorious winter weather which allowed many to get out for some exercise.

A few days into six weeks of new COVID-19 lockdowns people appear to largely be doing the right thing when they leave their homes.
They are masking up and keeping 1.5 metres apart, but still being social.
When I was out on a bike ride I was greeted by the nod of the head from a fellow cyclist gliding by and more than one muffled "Hello" from masked walkers, the crinkling of their eyes indicating a companionable smile.
It was as if they were saying: "Thank you, we're all in this together and we'll get through this together. Enjoy your time out."
The good spirits were great to see given the constraints we are under.
But there are still some people who think that the rules don't apply to them.
People from Melbourne who decided it was OK to travel to our area in search of firewood\. People who know they need to wear masks, but don't.
The people who put us all at risk.
A lot of people are ringing local police to check that they are doing the right thing - not looking for loopholes but trying to make sure they don't stray too far, or do the wrong thing.
We thank them for their care and consideration.
An abundance of caution is a good thing these days, especially when the daily death rate for Victoria today sits at 19, with a further 322 cases recorded overnight.
Take care when you're out and stay in when you can.
And follow the rules - don't bend or break them.
Then we'll be out of this all the sooner.
The Graduation Project
It's been a tough year for our Year 12 students. Upheaval, isolation, disruption.
Normally a special time of formals, friends and fellowship, this year many of these rites of passage have been put on hold.
But that doesn't mean we can't create memories and we want to help with this.
Our The Graduation Project will tell the stories of how students are coping, their plans for the future and any fun stuff they might be getting up to in the COVID-19 era.
So, if you're sewing your formal dress wondering whether you'll get to go to the ball, tell us your story. Or your gap year is on hold but you're planning for the future - tell us what you hope to do in a "new normal" world.
If you've got a story to tell, or pictures to share, send them our way at newsdesk@mailtimes.com.au.
Have a great week
