The Victorian Government launched the 'Click for Vic' campaign on Sunday August 23 to encourage Victorians to buy local online amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Five Ducks Farm owner Anita Evans said she can now sell her fresh berries, homemade jams and relishes to a wider audience and give people a "taste of the region."

"It's a great marketplace for finding new businesses that you didn't even know existed in your region," she said.

"All products are made on the farm or produced locally with local ingredients and it's a great way to promote regional areas in Victoria.

"For us it was a natural extension to doing our online shop and using that big marketing base to promote our business on a much larger scale than we could."

Mrs Evans said her wholesale business "vanished overnight" due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"We usually sell directly off the farm and locally through other tourists businesses but regional travel stopped ... It was quite a stressful time early on," she said.

"From the online market I hope people will remember who Five Ducks Farm is and where to find us. Hopefully people will support their local tourism."

Mrs Evans has reduced the amount of production due to the uncertainty of when Victoria will reopen.

"Normally during winter I would be actively creating stock, but we are holding back on that because we don't know when will Victoria will open up," she said.

"We haven't had a weekend off in four years of business ... so that has taken some adjustment.

"We have just launched a no sugar range. That's something that perhaps we wouldn't have had time for if COVID-19 hadn't been here."

Great Western's Green Eggs owner Kate Warner hopes the Victorian Country Market will give people more access to their free-range eggs.

"We have had our challenges like any other business but we are grateful that we still have eggs going out the door," she said.

"The Vic Country Market is the only thing we are doing online, and we are still providing our eggs to supermarkets.

"We hope to get our brand out there more and give people access to our eggs.

"It brings a whole lot of producers together from all over Victoria which gives businesses more strength."

Grampians operators also featured on the Victorian Country Market include Mountainside Wines, Grampians Olive Co and Fallen Giants Vineyard.
