
Figures released by the Department of Health and Human Services this afternoon show there are still three active cases in the Horsham Rural City Council local government area.
Yesterday, a new case of COVID-19 in the municipality was confirmed by Wimmera Health Care Group. The WHCG confirmed the case was reported following a Melbourne resident visiting the region.
There have also been 13 reported cases - including recovered - in the municipality.

There are no active cases in the West Wimmera, Yarriambiack, Hindmarsh, Northern Grampians or Ararat municipalities.
There are currently 124 active cases across regional Victoria, compared to 1900 in Melbourne.
Earlier this week, Premier Daniel Andrews said two plans for easing the state out of COVID-19 restrictions would be released this Sunday - one for Melbourne and one for regional Victoria.
He said this was due to the falling case numbers and the success of strategies in regional areas.
