The company has refused Portland-based Keppel Prince's offer to build wind towers for stage two of the Murra Warra Wind Farm in favour of another.
On Wednesday, the tower supplier's Country Leader Sam Maresh said in a statement they announced the contracts for the construction and long-term operation of the second stage in August.
"While Keppel Prince were used on the Murra Warra 1 project, after a competitive commercial process run in line with the execution timing of the project schedule, unfortunately the company was not successful for this project," he said.

"We hope to engage with Keppel Prince proactively in a qualification process to ensure our organisations are aligned on key customer deliverables of safety, quality, delivery and cost in respect to future projects."
The company could not comment on which company did receive the contract because of commercial confidentiality.
It has previously said the second stage of construction would create 400 jobs.
Mr Maresh said recruitment to fill these jobs was underway.
