On Tuesday, the organisation released a statement saying it has released to the market a Request for Proposal for the next stage of works to remediate the land.
There are an estimated 30 areas of waste substances unlawfully buried underground on the 1,400-acre property. The EPA has previously said it the dump shows no signs of contaminating the region's groundwater, about which residents have expressed concerns.

EPA Program Manager Julian Bull said in the statement the first stage of remediation took place in late 2019 "when a partial excavation of the three bigger underground dump locations was completed".
"This helped us understand the type and volume of waste likely to be buried at the site. All waste excavated during these works will be sampled and taken to an appropriately licensed facility for disposal.
"The EPA believes the polluter should pay for the cost of cleaning up and we will hold them to account."
