The sprinter jumped without any issues on Monday morning, completing a NSW Racing-mandated trial.

The Chris Waller-trained six-year-old bounded into the air at a trial last week, sending jockey James McDonald into the barriers, before he threw him over his right shoulder and onto the turf.

Nature Strip continued to chase the field on his own accord, before he was later stopped by strappers.

Both the jockey and horse emerged unscathed, but stewards ordered Nature Strip to trial again before he could return to the races.

"It's a bit like lining up in the Olympic Games. You don't want to miss the start because then you're out," Waller said.

"We didn't have any more chances after today. Now, we're back on track.,"

After being cleared to run, the star gelding has been tipped as the favourite in the group two Premiere Stakes this Saturday.

"It was just a nice, easy hitout. We didn't want him to do too much this morning. James (McDonald) said he was nice and relaxed. Now we're back on track for Saturday for the Premiere," Waller said.

MAKING NEWS ACROSS THE WIMMERA:

"I think he really likes the 1200 metre distance now. That nervous type of energy seems to have come off him and it helps him find his rhythm a lot better."

Nature Strip also remains the $3.50 favourite for the $15 million Everest.
