The former Horsham Saint has weathered all the uncertainties of the 2020 season to emerge as a pillar of a young Lions midfield group.
Berry is expected to brush off the latest setback - an untimely shoulder injury - to return for Friday night's qualifying final against Richmond.

The 22-year-old said the experience of a maiden finals appearance last year- which included a 47-point loss to the Tigers - would help him and his side this time around.
"Last year was a bit of a whirlwind, especially with so many guys who hadn't played finals before," Berry told 1116 SEN.
"We didn't know what to expect coming into the game.
"I feel like there's a sense of composure around the place heading into Friday night.
Berry has quietly gone about putting together a season to remember.
The workhorse has impressed in a side that doesn't mind playing tough football - averaging 7.5 contested possessions, 1.5 clearances and four tackles.
As a member of the club's leadership group the past two seasons, Berry has also played a hand in forming a culture he believes can guide the Lions to success.
"We had a good opportunity in that week off to look back on our season and where we first started. For me, it was a reflection of where came from as (a club), from when I was drafted, and the culture we've built," he said.

"You can see it out on the field, when the guys celebrate a goal, that we're such a tight group. To be honest, for me, you can't really tell whether it's a game being played at the local level or an AFL game.
"It's just that enjoyable at the moment."
The Lions faithful had their hearts in their mouths when Berry left the field clutching his shoulder during Brisbane's round 16 win against the Gold Coast.
Berry has not featured since, but with scans clearing him of his serious injury, he expected to be back on the field this weekend.
"I've ticked all the boxes. It's going to be a hard midfield to get back into, so hopefully they give the go-ahead," he said.
"But, I'm ready to go."
