Clear conditions greeted eager bowlers for the opening round of the Wimmera Bowls Association Weekend Pennant.
Excitement was in the air at the Sunnyside and Horsham City greens, as competitors enjoyed the chance to be outside playing sport again.

Like most things now, bowls looks a little different.
Players are allowed to take their face masks off when playing on the green, but they are quickly back on should someone need to walk around the grounds.
The famed tea break is no longer, with bowlers instead having to congregate in groups of 10 and remain socially distanced.
