On Tuesday, RES group announced a $35,000 round of donations to fire groups that service its solar and wind projects across Australia.
Tanya Jackson, Asset Manager with RES said in a statement" "The catastrophic fire season of 2020 has shown how important our fire services are to our local communities. This donation aims to demonstrate RES' appreciation of their hard work, and, aims to alleviate just part of the financial burden on these valuable volunteer organisations."
Mick Morcom, Warracknabeal CFA Group Officer said: "These funds are much appreciated by the local brigade to improve our equipment.
"Such donations are very helpful to purchase resources the CFA don't provide, and, saves our volunteers hours of fundraising."
