Two-time premiership player Luke Mahony has returned to the club to co-coach alongside fourth-year coach Coleman Schache.
Mahony last played for the Giants in 2017 as they stormed to a second consecutive Horsham District football league premiership, before the club moved to the Wimmera Football League.
Schache said the return of Mahony was a big boost for the club, and the communities of Hopetoun and Beulah.
"Not only is he a good player, but I'm excited about his leadership," Schache said.
"His experience as a senior player can further help our younger ones learn a bit more, and even teach our older midfielders a few things to help us improve. That's what I'm really excited about."

Schache said it had increased excitement about a return to football in 2021.
"With Luke coming back and coaching, that has created a real buzz," he said.
"He's a really well-respected person in our community and it really gives everyone a bit of a kick to know he's coming back."
Joining Mahony in returning to the club is Jack Landrigan.
Landrigan, a homegrown talent who played his junior football for Hopetoun, returns after a season with Charlton in the North Central football league.
Following Landrigan to the southern Mallee is highly-touted recruit Cassidy Parish.
Parish, the younger brother of Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish, formerly played in the Geelong Football League, VFL and TAC Cup.
He won the Geelong Falcons' best and fairest as a junior and was close to being drafted into the AFL several years ago.
"Having a local like Jack coming back is great, and he's brought along one of his mates," Schache said.
"As far as we know, (Parish) sounds like an exciting type of player, so the two of them should bring some youth and some excitement as well.
"Cassidy has certainly played some good footy as a junior so I'm excited to see how he goes."
