Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA crews were fighting the two fires which had burned a combined 3,000 hectares of bushland.
The spread of the fires had been halted by fuel breaks and no private property had been damaged on Monday afternoon.
Wimmera District Manager Glenn Rudolph said the fires were started by lightning and stoked by strong winds on Sunday.
"The first fire began on the eastern flank of the park near the Little Desert Discovery Walk before moving south under strong, northerly winds," he said.
"Fire crews worked throughout the night to manage the fires.
"The spread of the fires has been halted by fuel breaks and further works will be carried out from the air and on the ground today (Monday)."
