Horsham's cyclists are rejoicing as the paint dries on a fresh number of bike lanes in the city with motorists taking to social media to air their complaints.

Bright green bicycle lanes now line the Hamilton and Firebrace streets intersection, along with changes to the central island and kerbside.
Reactions to the upgrade were mixed, with some locals airing their disappointment online via a Facebook post by the Horsham Rural City Council.
"Bloody big waste of time and money..." one commenter said.
"Haven't seen a bike at the roundabout in months," another said.

Horsham Rural City Council and the TAC jointly funded the upgrades as a step toward more bicycle infrastructure as outlined in the Horsham Urban Transport Plan.
In a statement earlier this year Horsham Council Bicycle Advisory Committee chair Ben Holmes said the committee's vision was a network of safe cycling lanes throughout Horsham's CBD.
"Our ultimate goal as a committee is to improve cycling facilities and safety in Horsham for all our bike users. This is one of the first projects that's come up on a whole list of priorities we want to get done across the municipality," he said.
"With a lot more people using the infrastructure around Horsham now, it's a great opportunity for us to identify where gaps are in the cycling network and start filling them in."
