Halls Gap Golf Club one of 10 recognised in new coffee table book

The club is one of 10 to feature in Honesty Box Golf Courses of Western Victoria, a book recognising some of Victoria's "most intriguing" country golf courses.

Alongside professional photography, author Henry Peters said the book provided an "intimate look at the people who make these golf clubs tick".

Halls Gap Golf Club's Neill McIntosh said it was fantastic to see some smaller golf clubs across the region highlighted.

"We were all really excited when Halls Gap was selected to be included in the book," he said. "We've got a great little course out here and everyone always enjoys coming for a hit."

The Halls Gap Golf Club is also hosting its annual Christmas event on Saturday.

"We've had a really good response so far, and we normally have a full field," McIntosh said. "But this year there are still a few spare spaces so anyone interested in having a hit can get in touch."
