Miller has signed on with powerhouse club St Joseph's, who has reached finals the past six seasons and won a flag in 2017.
Miller returned to Dimboola in 2019, playing 12 games in a season delayed by a broken finger he sustained in the Roos' opening round win.
Still in early 20s, Miller has previously expressed his desire to challenge himself at a higher level again.
Miller spent 2018 with West Adelaide in the SANFL, but several serious back injuries sidelined him for half a season.
