The association's brightest young talent meet Warrnambool Blue in Thursday's semi-final, but will need to turn their form around if they want to progress to the big dance.
Horsham suffered its first loss of the carnival to Warrnambool Gold on Wednesday.
Paddy Mills (24) and Will Drummond (13) combined for a 53-run opening stand, but once both departed in quick succession things went downhill for Horsham.
The middle-order struggled to score against economical bowling, with Warrnambool's spinners drawing rash, big shots from their opponents.
Some needed contributions, and appreciated extras, pushed Horsham to 114.
Horsham soon had Warrnambool at 2-18, thanks to quick wickets from Bailey Young (1-10) and Patrick Munn (2-24).
MAKING NEWS:
It would be hard work from there for the visiting side, with Warrnambool's first drop posting a century.
The hosts reached the total in the 38th over and batted on, posting 7-183.
Xavier Bone (2-17) and Harry Freak (1-16) were among Horsham's other wickettakers.
