Two weeks after winning the Nhill Cup Bobbin teamed up with Horsham jockey Tatum Bull to claim the Koroit Cup at Warrnambool on Sunday.
"The reason I got into racing was one because I enjoy the horses, but also the people as well and I'm not sure if you got any vision of the boys celebrating but that's what it's all about," Bobbin said after the race to racing.com at the track.
"It's a huge thrill and I'm just really happy with Tatum, that's what we spoke about before the race just to be positive from the gate and sit outside the leader, I was confident I had him fit enough and he toughed it out."
Bobbin said he had 17 in work at the stables based at the foot of the Grampians.
"The reason I got into racing was one because I enjoy the horses and two because I love people," he said.
"We've got space for plenty more and of course there are sales on the way. Heavy sand is the key up there (at his base) but we're only 10 minutes from the Stawell racecourse so we can do all the traditional style stuff if need be."
OTHER NEWS:
Bobbin said he couldn't remember the last time Dubai Dominion trained at the track. "He does everything at home," he said. "He seems to be thriving."
Bull continued her recent form, thrilled to have added another country cup to her resumé and also claimed the race immediately before the cup.
"It's a massive thrill, I know this horse quite well and he was so tough. He got headed and then he fought back again so I couldn't be happier." Bull said. "These guys deserve it more than anyone, they work hard and they've only got a small team but the results are coming."
Bull said after claiming the two wins she hoped she could continue the connections with the horse into the future.
"Things are going well but obviously you need the support behind you," she said.
"I've got really good bosses and really good people at work who keep me motivated to keep doing better.
"You can't do it without the horses thought."
