COLESLAW from a number of central Victorian Woolworths stores is being recalled due to potential salmonella contamination.

The affected Woolworths coleslaw came in four sizes - 110g, 250g, 400g and 800g - and had use by dates up to and including January 21.
No Wimmera stores are affected by the recall; however, residents travelling in Golden Square, Bendigo Market Place, Echuca, Moama, Epsom, Lansell Plaza, Kennington, Kyabram and Kerang are among the Woolworths stores where affected products were sold.
Others include White Box Rise, Bright, Benalla, Mooroopna, Cobram, Swan Hill, Shepparton, Shepparton East, Wangaratta, Seymour, Airport West, Lavington, Albury Central, Wodonga, Yarrawonga Central, Thurgoona, Corowa, and Northland.

Woolworths has advised customers to return the product to their nearest Woolworths supermarket for a full refund.
The recall only applies to coleslaw with use by dates up to and including January 21.
"No other products are affected by this recall," the recall notice said.
Products contaminated with salmonella can cause illness if eaten.
Woolworths has advised any customers concerned about their health to seek medical attention.
"Woolworths takes product safety seriously and apologises for any inconvenience," the recall notice said.
The supermarket giant said customers could call its toll-free customer service number for more information on 1800 103 515.
