West Wimmera triumphed in a final-ball thriller, while Noradjuha-Toolondo extended its lead at the top the table as the competition kicked off a four-week block of Twenty20s.
At Sunnyside, West Wimmera elected to bat but was quickly on the back foot, after Nathan Alexander was dismissed with the game's first ball.
Bit-part contributions from the top-order steadied the ship before Brad Alexander began to up the scoring rate.
Alexander smoked six boundaries before losing his wicket one run short of his half-century.
Craig Britten (3-19) was the pick of the Homers bowlers, while Chaminda Gamage cleaned up the tail to take home figures of 2-9 off his allotment.

Homers' innings would be also be stalled by the loss of an early wicket, but a captain's knock from Adam Atwood (22) ensured the chase wasn't derailed.
Gamage also dominated with the bat, piling on 43 to put the hosts within touching distance.
However, West Wimmera wasn't rolling over with tidy bowling in the middle overs from Austin Smith (2-27) taking the game to the wire.
Homers needed 24 runs off the final three overs, and with experienced hands Simon Hopper and Jarred Combe at the crease there was cause for optimism.
The pair rotated the strike well, moving their side 12 runs away of victory heading into the final over.
A first-ball four made matters interesting before five runs off the next four set up a blockbuster conclusion.
Nathan Alexander (1-18) and the Warriors held the nerve, forcing a run-out off the final ball to secure a memorable win.
At Minyip, a 60-run opening stand between Jamie Byrne (12) and Jake Leith (47) put Rup-Minyip in a solid position against Noradjuha-Toolondo.
The middle-order was ultimately restricted by David Combe (2-13) and Brendan Wills (1-13), leaving the Blue Panthers seeking a late charge.
Brent Hudson stood up, hitting a crucial 26 to guide the hosts to 4-109 at the end of their innings.
The Bullants' response started in typically flying fashion, thanks to Justtin Combe (12) and Tony Caccaviello (18).
Combe would be the first to depart off Brent Hudson (2-21), opening the door for skipper Matthew Combe to see his side home.
The captain finished unbeaten on 50 off 41 balls, with support from Troy Dumesny (25*) taking the Bullants to the total in the 17th over.

Elsewhere, Jung Tigers secured a 25-run win against the Horsham Saints in a game blighted by Christmas break rust.
Jung Tigers were asked to bat and were soon in trouble at 3-13.
The Saints were able to restrict runs through Jason Harris (2-18) and Shefat Rahman (2-16), but faced resistance from opposing skipper Angus Adams.
Adams posted an unbeaten 41 to push Jung to 9-89 at the end of its innings.
Jono Carroll was the pick of the Saints bowlers, recording two maidens among his figures of 3-6 off four overs.
The Saints' response soon ventured into familiar territory, with wickets falling too often for a chase to gather pace.
Matt Currill (19) and Jason Harris (12) were the only batsmen to reach double-figures, as David Puls (3-6) and Joel Pymer (2-14) bowled Jung Tigers to victory.
