A spokesperson from the Bureau of Meteorology said it'll feel very hot after such cool weather over the last two months.
"There will be heatwave conditions across much of Victoria including the Wimmera Mallee area," the bureau spokesperson said.
"It's a hot few days ahead. Temperatures will be in the mid to high 30's across the Wimmera over the coming days.

"Thursday will be 36°C; Friday and Saturday will be similar as well with temperatures in the mid to high 30s right across the district.
"Sunday will be the really hot day were we'll see winds turn a bit more northerly and drag down the heat down from further inland.
"We'll see temperatures in the low to mid 40s across the region. Horsham will be 43°C, Warracknabeal and Nhill will also be 43°C. Edenhope will be 42°C."
Much of Victoria will be in severe heat wave condition across the weekend and into the weekend, which is common for mid January.
Monday will also be a hot day with temperatures reaching 40°C before a cool change, but the Wimmera will be in for some uncomfortable nights.
"The minimums on Sunday and Monday are going to be very high, with places only reaching mid 20s across the area," the bureau spokesperson said.
Australia Day will benefit from the Monday late afternoon's cool change. Tuesday will be 27°C with a couple of showers around.
