The centre needs donations from all blood types.
Times vary each day including after hours so everyone can have a chance to donate regardless of their schedule.
Appointments are recommended, the contact number is 13 14 95.
The mobile donation centre has ramp access if required.
The Red Cross is ensuring their donor centres are COVID-19 safe. There have been no reported cases of transfusion-transmission of COVID-19 anywhere in the world, and there is now increasing scientific evidence that the risk of this occurring is extremely low, if it occurs at all.
Blood has a shelf life of 42 days and each week 31,000 Australians need a blood donation.
If you can donate, contact 13 14 95 to make an appointment while the mobile centre is in town.
