
Drung-Jung Road in Drung will move to the next stage of the reconstruction and widening project.
Horsham council accepted the proposed tender for the project during the January council meeting.

Councillor Les Power said the road is a great track for bike riders.
"I think it's a fantastic idea to widen this road.

"It's one of those roads with very little traffic at times but very safe for cyclists.
"It's a great idea...and I can't wait to see the rest of the road to be finished off."
Millers Civil Contractors will proceed with the reconstruction of Drung Jung Road Stages Two and Three for the lump sum price of $762,575.
2.145 km of the road will be widened across two stages of the project.
Other funding obtained for this project was $284,000 through the Federal Government's Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program (HVSPP) and $451,000 through the Agrilinks Upgrade Funding Program, part of which will be used for this project.
Further funding will be sourced from council rates.The project was first passed last year and was budgeted for the 2020-21 financial year.
The motion was passed unanimously.
