Horsham Arts Council's Maddi Ostapiw, who sat on the audition panel, said it was an amazing feeling to get back into rehearsals and the line up is really exciting.
"The auditions went really well. The day before the end of the cut off for auditions everyone had left it to the last minute, so we only had seven or eight auditions 24 hours out from the deadline and then suddenly we had this massive influx and ended up with some really amazing performers," she said.
Auditions were submitted via a video link but call backs were in person which was a nice reprieve for the audition panel.

"It was really lovely to meet auditionees in person and see what they were like in person," Ms Ostapiw.
"The final cast list I'm really excited about, it's bigger than I thought it would be, we just had many, many talented people audition.
"We had people joining us again, we also have some wonderful young people in their early to late teens stepping into solo roles. We also have a heap of new people who blew us out of the water. We did not expect to see such talented people we have not met before.
"My favourite part of auditions is meeting new people and going oh my goodness, we need to have you a part of this show."
People seem to be missing performing so much a couple of Ballarat people will be commuting to Horsham just to before again.

The panel cast 31 performers, the Disney concert will feature some ensemble pieces but mostly solos and duets.
Monday night, one of the ensembles had a rehearsal for "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from the 1998 Hercules film.
From the ensemble, Chloe Findlay moved to Horsham in December 2019 but was unable to embrace the Horsham community as the pandemic hit and everything got shut down.
"I've always loved musical theatre," she said.
"I moved out here and the pandemic hit last year and I couldn't participate in community groups.
"Now that they are opening up again, I'm trying to get involved in all my passions again."
Ms Findlay will be performing "When She Loved Me" from 1999s Toy Story 2 and "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" from 1950s Cinderella.
Unfortunately since then, masks are required once again in indoor spaces.
Ms Ostapiw said they will try to have online vocal training.
"It's an entirely new process but I'm so excited to be working with a production team who is willing to adapt because they just want to get something up and running for the community," she said.
When you Wish Upon A Star: An Evening of Disney Classics will be held from March 12 to March 14. Ticket information will be released at a later date.
