A woman had to be helped out of her car after a two-vehicle crash on Dooen Road, a minute outside of Horsham, on Monday morning.

Emergency services attended the scene just before 9am after two cars appeared to collide at the corner of Dooen Road and Edith Street by the train tracks.

The two vehicles came to rest in the middle of the highway, where the female driver was briefly trapped by the other car, which rested next to her door.
Both lanes of Dooen Road were blocked to traffic while CFA crews inspected the scene.
Paramedics attended to the woman in her car, and she was able to leave the vehicle unassisted.
No one appeared to be injured in the crash.
SES crews remained on scene to ensure the safety of emergency services crews and the passengers.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. Police were interviewing witnesses at the scene.
