From Friday to Monday players will competed in a number of different events to try win their way through to the final sixteen in the state.
Representing their regions, players travelled long distances to take on the competition.
On Friday, it was the single's events on the rink.
In the Men's, Ararat VRI's Clayton Holcombe representing the Grampians region, went up against Shane Morris from Goroke. Holcombe was successful in moving through to the grand final.
OTHER NEWS:
Holcombe went up against Geoff Lowe, of Goroke, after he defeated Rodney Sinclair of Warracknabeal.
Holcombe advanced to Bendigo after defeating Lowe by two shots.
In the women's event, Isobel Davison, of Warracknabeal Golf, was defeated by Boort's Thelma Morosi. Morosi played off against Judy Albrecht in the final after Albrecht was triumphant over Stawell's Ellen Werry.
Albrecht was instrumental against Morosi - claiming the victory by four shots.
