Tyler Blake is back with the Demons as an assistant coach, alongside former premiership captain Jeremy Hartigan.
Hartigan initially signed for the abandoned 2020 season, but has re-committed.
"Tyler's been wonderful and he's looking really, really good so I'm excited about that," co-coach Jordyn Burke said. "It's going to add a bit more to our midfield, which we need.

"(Jeremy) has come back into the fold and his leadership has been brilliant. He's a real centre-half-forward, centre-half-back option.
"I think he played in six or seven flags and brings huge experience."
Joining them are Mitchell Fromm (Adelaide) and Angus Atchison (Sebastapol).
