A CFA spokesperson said CFA responded to reports of a stubble fire in Murtoa at around 3.55pm on April 1.
10 CFA units attended the incident.
Crews had the incident under control and issued a stop on the incident at 4.40pm.
PREVIOUS:
There is a grassfire on the corner of Staricks Road and Lierschs Pit road in Murtoa, that is not yet under control.
CFA have issues a warning in regards to the grassfire asking people to remain aware.
The next update is expected by 8.40pm or as the situation changes.
Smoke will be visible from nearby roads and communities.
It has been advised by CFA to keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
